[Event Report] Symposium Reiterating the Proposal to Realize a “Platinum Society”: “Social Implementation of the Platinum Concept—Realizing a Nation at the Forefront of Problem-Solving Through Collaboration Among Industry, Government, Academia, and Citizens”

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Platinum Concept Network, I spoke at a symposium titled “Social Implementation of the Platinum Concept: Realizing a Nation at the Forefront of Problem-Solving Through Collaboration Among Industry, Government, Academia, and Citizens,” which reaffirmed the proposal to realize a Platinum Society.

The topic assigned for the lecture was “Social Implementation and the Essentials of Collaboration Among Industry, Government, Academia, and the Public.”

Hiroshi Komiyama, former president of the University of Tokyo, spoke about his desire to establish a methodology for social implementation that does not boil down to conclusions like “determination and grit.”

Of course, strategy and tactics are important, but I feel that “persisting relentlessly until it’s achieved” is also a key factor in social implementation (*^^*)
