[Report] U-22 Programming Contest 2020 Final Judging Session

It appears that the report on the final judging session for the U-22 Programming Contest 2020 has been released.

This page features a wealth of content, including footage of the presentations, acceptance speeches, comments from the judges, and evaluation criteria.

This year marked the first time the final judging and awards ceremony were held online. I can only imagine that developing and presenting projects amid the COVID-19 pandemic presented various challenges and hardships.

However, I was impressed by their resilience—specifically, their willingness to make the most of the unexpected free time created by school closures to deeply explore their own interests, and the way they found joy in everyday life through creative and expressive activities. Furthermore, I was amazed by their determination to improve the society they live in with their own hands—as exemplified by the “Three Cs Checker”—and by their ability to actually come up with ideas and put them into practice.I have even greater expectations for this generation’s contributions as they help shape the “new normal” in the post-COVID era!
