- Book Arrival & Update
I’m delighted to be receiving a steady stream of emails letting me know that the books have arrived and updating me on what’s been going on. It seems some libraries have even added copies to their collections, which I’m very grateful for.
Now, according to an email I just received from the City of Kyoto, in light of the fact that several schools had to close entire grades or individual classes in September due to on-campus infections, the city has begun utilizing the devices procured early to implement measures such as simultaneously streaming classes to students who are required to stay home.
It is said that the introduction of online learning has led to improvements in classroom instruction and helped students at home establish a daily routine, among other benefits beyond simply ensuring continued learning.
That's Kyoto for you!
