Learning of Tomorrow First Session of the Exchange of Views Between Local Government Leaders and Businesses Nationwide The first installment of the joint project between the Platinum Initiative Network, led by Professor Hiroshi Komiyama, and the Learning of Tomorrow Association: “Matchmaking Event for Local Government Leaders and Businesses Nationwide.”
Today's attendees included Katsushika Ward Mayor Aoki, Hamamatsu City Mayor Suzuki, Ichinomiya City Mayor Nakano, Mr. Kawazoe from NTT, Mr. Morishita from Mitsumura Shoten, Mr. Hiroyama from Google, and others. Professor Komiyama was also there, of course.
It was supposed to be two hours, but things got so lively that it turned into two and a half… and it still wasn't over.
It’s typical of Professor Komiyama to propose not just ending this with a roundtable discussion, but rather forming a coalition of local governments and turning it into a formal project.
I would like to work toward making this a reality.
