Summer Camp 2020: Summer Wildflower Walk

サマーキャンプ2020 夏の野草さんぽ

Let’s go on a wildflower walk along the Tama River this summer! What kinds of wildflowers will we find? What shapes do they have? How do they smell? How do they feel to the touch? Let’s use our “five senses” to experience nature up close. This is a follow-up to the wildflower walk workshop we held online this spring. Once again, join Ms. Non from “365 Days of Wildflower Living” as we head to the Tama River to discover all kinds of wildflowers together. What kinds of wildflowers grow around your house? What kinds of wildflowers grow along the Tama River?

The Kids Creative Institute’s online series, “Secret Hideout at Home,” is about to begin. The setting for these workshops—“Secret Hideout at Home”—is right where you are right now. You’ll create things using everyday items, move your body, and conduct experiments. Our goal is to enrich and transform everyone’s daily lives through these workshops and through your own “exploration.”

The Kids Creative Lab’s online series, “Secret Hideout Science Series at Home,” is about to begin. When you spot something “mysterious” or ask yourself “Why?” right next to you, gather at the secret hideout and let’s figure it out together. Make predictions, conduct experiments, think it through, and make more predictions… Your home will quickly turn into a science lab! For August’s program, let’s observe what happens when we put everyday objects in water.
