Submissions for the Platinum Grand Prize are now being accepted. I will once again serve as a judge this year. We look forward to receiving many entries.

The Platinum Grand Prize recognizes and widely publicizes the efforts of local governments, companies, and other organizations nationwide that aim to realize a “Platinum Society” by creating new industries through innovation or solving regional challenges with initiatives brimming with ideas and enthusiasm. As of last year, 76 outstanding initiatives have received awards, and 50 local governments have been certified as Platinum Cities.
