CANVAS “A Fresh Start: Tsukuba Expo Center Special Exhibition—’A Grand Gathering of Unusual Games!—Create, Try, and Think—'” We were closed to prevent the spread of COVID-19, but we will resume exhibitions on June 2. CANVAS is providing support for this exhibition.
(*Please note that admission may be restricted to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Please check the Tsukuba Expo Center website for the latest information before visiting.Website: http://www.expocenter.or.jp)
The facility staff created a promotional video for the special exhibition! The exhibition features works organized around six themes—Light, Shape, Movement, Sound, Numbers, and Digital Ehon—that visitors can touch, create, and play with.
We are making thorough preparations to implement infection control measures, such as installing protective shields on interactive exhibits and frequently disinfecting display items! While “Straw Forest”—where installing a protective
shield is difficult—will be for viewing only, since it involves creative play with everyday materials, you can try making it at home with just straws and cellophane tape.
The exhibition is full of new ways to play that make “creating” and “thinking” even more fun. Why not come check it out?
