Other Speaker at the DTA (Data Circulation Promotion Council) Symposium: “Fighting COVID-19 Through Data Utilization and Collaboration” Today, during my lunch break, I spoke at a symposium hosted by the Data Circulation Promotion Council (DTA) titled “Fighting COVID-19 Through Data Utilization and Collaboration.”
The moderator was iU President Ichiya Nakamura. I was asked to give the keynote address and was also tasked with selecting the other panelists, so I invited Professor Koichi Hashida from the University of Tokyo/RIKEN AIP and Vice President Keishi Matsuda from Tokyo Gakugei University.
I thought, “If we’re going to talk about data and education, it has to be Professors Hashida and Matsuda!” (*^^*) Thank you very much, Professor Hashida and Professor Matsuda.
Every day this week during lunch, I’ve been chairing symposia and meetings one after another, so my lunch time keeps getting pushed back!!! That said, since the meetings before and after are often online, I’ve been able to sneak in a bite to eat during those…
Maybe from now on, even if I’m on stage, I’ll try to participate while having lunch.
