CANVAS (Representative: Nanako Ishido) will host the “Online Workshop Collection” on Sunday, June 28, with the aim of promoting and developing online creative workshops that stimulate children’s creativity and self-expression.CANVAS, which has been working to create spaces for children’s creativity and self-expression through collaboration among industry, government, academia, and the community, is
now expanding its activities online to take on the challenge of developing and promoting new forms of play and learning.
This event will bring together online workshops from a wide range of genres—including science, digital technology, programming, visual arts, and physical expression—to create a new space for children’s creativity and self-expression.Additionally, we are partnering with “#Yoshimoto Home Theater,” a new initiative featuring comedians and entertainers performing from home to bring “smiles” to your living rooms, to offer a diverse range of content.
Accordingly, starting today, Wednesday, May 13, we have begun accepting applications from enthusiastic exhibitors who wish to help make the “Online Workshop Collection”—an event designed to stimulate children’s creativity and expressive abilities—a success.
