- Online Workshop Collection
We’re hosting the “Online Workshop Collection,” an event that brings together online workshops—and we’re currently accepting applications from exhibitors!
The Workshop Collection began in 2004 with the goal of presenting new ways of learning in the digital age in a fun, fashion-show-style format. By 2013, it had attracted 100,000 visitors over two days and had grown to be recognized as the world’s largest children’s creative event. It has since expanded to various locations, including Sapporo, Osaka, Kyoto, Fukuoka, and Okinawa.
This year, due to the impact of the coronavirus, the in-person Workshop Collection was postponed, so we held the Workshop Collection Online instead. We are also currently conducting various online workshops through a process of trial and error.
Consequently, CANVAS has decided to expand the space for children’s creative and expressive activities to the online realm and host an online workshop collection event with the aim of developing and promoting online workshops as a new form of play and learning.
Our previous event was “Workshop Collection Online”—the online version of the Workshop Collection.
This time, it’s “Online Workshop Collection”—a collection of online workshops.
We’re currently accepting applications from exhibitors, so we look forward to hearing from all of you who are currently hosting online workshops or are planning to take on this challenge in the future.
