Remote Training for Programming Education Instructors

From

a CANVAS Facebook post*******************************************

Recently, in collaboration with Cisco Systems and Ama Town in Shimane Prefecture, we conducted an online programming training session for educators. This session was attended by a total of 28 participants, including elementary school teachers and college students enrolled in the local education department. The program consisted of creating simple games using the block-based programming language Pyonkee, as well as two mock lessons designed to demonstrate how these tools could be incorporated into science and social studies classes.

At the end, there was a lively Q&A session, and we exchanged ideas on lesson planning and programming. It was a time that made me feel even more optimistic about the potential of remote training for programming educators!
