“Digital Ehon Award 2019” Confirmed—Call for Entries Now Open!
New “Rough & Peace Mother Award” Established!

The International Digital Ehon Fair Executive Committee (Taito Ward, Tokyo) will host the “Digital Ehon Award 2019.” Submissions will be accepted starting Tuesday, August 27, 2019.
　
The Digital Ehon Award, which has been held since 2012 with the aim of discovering and promoting high-quality Digital Ehon books that nurture children’s creativity, marks its seventh edition this year. The sixth edition, held in 2018, received approximately 330 entries from 23 countries around the world, establishing itself as an international award.
　
Furthermore, starting this year, cash prizes will be awarded to the Grand Prix and Runner-up winners, and the “Raf & Peace Mother’s Award” has been newly established; the event is expected to gain even more momentum as a launching pad for Digital Ehon creators.
　
We understand you are very busy, but we hope you will understand the purpose of this event and kindly request that you publicize it through your media outlets and cover the event on the day of the ceremony.

*What are Digital Ehon? The term “Digital Ehon” is a general term for digital content aimed at children, including new devices such as tablets, e-readers, interactive whiteboards, digital signage, and smartphones—in addition to televisions and personal computers.
In recent years, the Digital Ehon Awards have received a wide variety of entries, including works that integrate toys with apps, as well as large-scale works projected onto walls or digital signage.
