Bipartisan Parliamentary League on ICT in Education

Today, I attended a meeting of the Cross-Party Parliamentary League on Education and ICT at the House of Councillors Members' Office Building starting early this morning.
The Textbook Association gave a presentation on the current status of digital textbooks and educational materials.

During the discussion, I was asked about the impact of the separation of communication and device fees—resulting from the amendment to the Telecommunications Business Act—on the widespread adoption of educational tablets. I responded that I would like to promote the adoption of BYOD and, consequently, the secondary market for used tablets.
This is a topic currently being discussed at Learning of Tomorrow.

I also received some rice crackers from Mr. Toshiaki Endo.
On equal footing.
