[Educational Toy Trial Sessions (In Development)! Registration for June Sessions Is Now Open!]
Registration is now open for the June sessions of the educational toy experience event we introduced the other day!
Starting in June, the 3:30 PM–4:00 PM and 4:30 PM–5:00 PM sessions will be for students in grades 1–3!
We hope you’ll join us!

Why not try out the new toys CANVAS is helping to develop? We value your valuable feedback and the insights gained from watching the children play. We’ll compile these observations from CANVAS’s perspective and use them to inform our toy development!
<About the Experience Session>
To create an environment where children can play at their own pace, this event requires registration.
(Children will participate one group at a time.)

Times:
12:30–1:00 PM on each day,1:30 PM–2:00 PM, 2:30 PM–3:00 PM, 3:30 PM–4:00 PM, 4:30 PM–5:00 PM
Target Audience:
Preschoolers (ages 3–6) and their parents or guardians
June only: The 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM sessions are for 1st–3rd graders.
Capacity:
One family per session.

After graduating from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, he served as a visiting researcher at the MIT Media Lab before founding the NPO CANVAS and the Learning of Tomorrow Association, a General Incorporated Association, and assuming the role of representative. He serves as an outside director for Matsuya Co., Ltd., Fuji Media Holdings, Inc., and Digital Garage, Inc.
He has served on various government committees, including the Information and Communications Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, as well as the NHK Central Broadcasting Program Council. He also serves as a director of the Digital Signage Consortium, among other roles. He holds a Ph.D. in Policy and Media.
His publications include *Turning On Children’s Creativity!*, *What Are Smart Kids Doing on Their Smartphones?*, *The Forefront of Online Education in Japan: Considering Learning in the Post-COVID Era*,“What Is Programming Education? 45 Questions Parents Want to Know,” and “Declaration on Digital Education.” He has also provided supervision for numerous works, including “Ah, I See! Programming Education for Parents and Children Through Manga.”
