[Educational Toy Trial Event (In Development)! Now Accepting Participants!]
We’re now accepting applications for the educational toy trial event we introduced the other day!
We hope you’ll join us!♪

Would you like to try out the new toys CANVAS is helping to develop? We value your valuable feedback and the insights we gain from watching the children play. We’ll compile these observations from CANVAS’s perspective and use them to inform our toy development!
　
<About the Experience Session>
・To create an environment where children can play at their own pace, this event operates on a registration basis.
(Each family will participate one at a time.)
・These toys are designed for preschool-aged children (ages 3–6, before entering elementary school).

・Product explanation (intended purpose, how to play, etc.)
・Hands-on play experience

May 18 (Sat), 23 (Thu), and 30 (Thu), 2019
Time:
Each day: 12:30 PM–1:00 PM, 1:30 PM–2:00 PM, 2:30 PM–3:00 PM, 3:30 PM–4:00 PM, 4:30 PM–5:00 PM
Target Audience:
Preschoolers (ages 3–6) and their parents
Capacity:
One family per session

    After graduating from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, he served as a visiting researcher at the MIT Media Lab before founding the NPO CANVAS and the Learning of Tomorrow Association, a General Incorporated Association, and assuming the role of representative. He serves as an outside director for Matsuya Co., Ltd., Fuji Media Holdings, Inc., and Digital Garage, Inc.
    He has served on various government committees, including the Information and Communications Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, as well as the NHK Central Broadcasting Program Council. He also serves as a director of the Digital Signage Consortium, among other roles. He holds a Ph.D. in Policy and Media.
    His publications include *Turning On Children’s Creativity!*, *What Are Smart Kids Doing on Their Smartphones?*, *The Forefront of Online Education in Japan: Considering Learning in the Post-COVID Era*,“What Is Programming Education? 45 Questions Parents Want to Know,” and “Declaration on Digital Education.” He has also provided supervision for numerous works, including “Ah, I See! Programming Education for Parents and Children Through Manga.”
