“Feast of Past and Present: 1,000 Cherry Blossoms” @ NicoNico Chokaigi

I went to see “The Banquet of Past and Present: Senbonzakura” at Niconico Chokaigi.
It’s a “trans-dimensional” “super kabuki” performance featuring Hatsune Mirai and Aono Kaito, the guardians of Senbonzakura.
The audience’s enthusiasm for this stage production—a fusion of tradition and cutting-edge technology—was incredible.
The line between the real and the virtual has all but disappeared, with Hatsune Miku, Shido Nakamura, and their avatars coexisting quite naturally in the same space.
During the finale, at the cue of “Drawing strength from the words of countless people,”
the screen was filled with comments from NicoNico users,
the entire audience rose to their feet, and amid a shower of cherry blossoms, pink glow sticks swayed and shouts of “Oomou!” rang out.
The stage, the audience, and the Niconico users—this was “Super Kabuki,” where the performers and every member of the audience became one.
Sitting right next to NTT Director Kawazoe and Horipro President Hori, I had a front-row seat to the breathtaking sight of Seiryū passing right before my eyes (*^^*)
I was touched by the kindness of Dwango President Natsuno as he handed a fresh cherry blossom to a child who was gathering the fallen blossoms from the floor.
I also got to meet everyone from Yoshimoto who are part of “Rough & Peace Mother,” so I didn’t get lost.

    After graduating from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, he served as a visiting researcher at the MIT Media Lab before founding the NPO CANVAS and the Learning of Tomorrow Association, a General Incorporated Association, and assuming the role of representative. He serves as an outside director for Matsuya Co., Ltd., Fuji Media Holdings, Inc., and Digital Garage, Inc.
    He has served on various government committees, including the Information and Communications Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, as well as the NHK Central Broadcasting Program Council. He also serves as a director of the Digital Signage Consortium, among other roles. He holds a Ph.D. in Policy and Media.
    His publications include *Turning On Children’s Creativity!*, *What Are Smart Kids Doing on Their Smartphones?*, *The Forefront of Online Education in Japan: Considering Learning in the Post-COVID Era*,“What Is Programming Education? 45 Questions Parents Want to Know,” and “Declaration on Digital Education.” He has also provided supervision for numerous works, including “Ah, I See! Programming Education for Parents and Children Through Manga.”
