Here’s a look at the “Micro Adventurers” kids’ workshop held at the Learning of Tomorrow Expo on December 1.

“uHandy,” originally from Taiwan, is a microscope that attaches to a smartphone.
You can take it anywhere and quickly observe whatever you want to see.
While listening to an engaging talk by Mr. Chen from Aidmix Biotechnology,
we observed a variety of objects using the uHandy.

From bird feathers, pollen, and coins to snacks that crackle when you put them in your mouth,
and even the way disposable diapers absorb water—everyone was captivated by the microscopic world viewed through their smartphones.

At the end, we also observed water fleas using a high-magnification lens.

“Adventure is going to places you’ve never seen before and making discoveries,” Mr. Chen said.
Even everyday objects around us can feel like something completely different when viewed from a new perspective.
It’s as if you’re seeing them for the first time.

Observing the microscopic world through a microscope was truly an “adventure”!
