To Members of the Press

Thank you for your continued support.

CANVAS, a Specified Nonprofit Corporation, will launch a series of workshops for children titled “Yoshimoto Comedians × Kids Creative Lab,” in collaboration with Yoshimoto Creative Agency, Inc.
Comedy performances are packed with various creative techniques—such as making people laugh and communicating effectively—that involve viewing things from a different perspective than usual.
For each session, we will invite a special instructor to lead a variety of workshop programs designed to nurture the children’s imagination and expressive abilities.

To mark this historic first installment, on Friday, August 17, and Saturday, August 18, 2018,
we will hold “Let’s Create a Flip Chart Act with ZAZY” and “Let’s Create a Skit with Cardboard with Mou Chugakusei” at the University of Tokyo’s Hongo Campus.
Children will create flip-chart comedy with ZAZY and make props out of cardboard with Mou Chugakusei.
Through these workshops, we will offer play and learning experiences that, together with comedians, foster children’s new forms of expression and
rich communication.

We understand you are very busy, but
we would greatly appreciate it if you could help spread the word about this event through your media outlets,
and we kindly ask for your consideration.
If your media outlet decides to cover this event, we would appreciate it if you could take a moment to
let us know.
