- Workshop Collection in Fukuoka Surpasses 20,000 Visitors!
Workshop Collection in Fukuoka.
Thank you to all the visitors, exhibitors, and everyone who helped organize the event.
The total number of visitors over the two days exceeded our target of 20,000. Amazing!!!
It took six events in Tokyo to surpass 20,000 visitors, but Fukuoka did it in just three.
In the evenings, the Workshop Collection events—including discussions on programming education and future Education x IT plans for Fukuoka—were full of excitement.
At last year’s roundtable discussion, Mr. Niitsu, who is on secondment from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) to Kyushu University, declared, “We’ll make it happen at Kyushu University!”
And, true to his word… the next event has been confirmed to take place at Kyushu University’s Ito Campus!!!
At yesterday’s networking event, he declared, “We’ll surpass 50,000 attendees at the Kyushu University event. If we don’t, I’ll stay in Fukuoka for another year!”
The partnership between Mr. Niitsu and Mr. Toru Tanigawa, former director of the Kyushu University Entrepreneurship Center, is unbeatable.
I’m looking forward to seeing how things unfold in Fukuoka from here on out.
*I took the liberty of using this photo from Mr. Yamada at GOODAY. President Yanase, Mr. Yamada, Mr. Iwahashi, and Mr. Watanabe—great job everyone! (*^^*)
