Announcement of Two Symposia and Briefing Sessions

Announcement of Two Symposiums and Briefing Sessions.
At the March DiTT Study Session and Briefing Session,
we will be joined by three speakers: Mr. Umemura, Director of the Information Education Division at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT); Mr. Inudo, Director of the Information Circulation Promotion Division at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC); and Mr. Ito, Counselor at the Economic and Industrial Policy Bureau of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).This is a rare opportunity to have officials from all three ministries together, so please be sure to attend.
I am particularly looking forward to this event, as these three individuals have engaged in repeated discussions with me regarding programming education.

Additionally, we will hold a DiTT symposium titled “Copyright in Educational Use” on February 28.
Under the slogan of creating an “educational version of JASRAC,” DiTT launched a working group last year and has been continuing discussions; however,
we have now been commissioned by the Agency for Cultural Affairs to investigate conditions in six countries overseas.
This symposium will incorporate the findings of the Agency for Cultural Affairs’ investigation. We hope you will join us.
