Now that Google Home has arrived, I’m building a desk for Google-kun. Obviously, the specs are way off, but what really shocked me was that cutting wood with a saw gave me a backache… It looks like I’ll be able to enjoy chatting with Google-kun for a while.
“Who created you?” → “Google engineers.”
“Who’s your favorite person in the world?” → “My first love was search.”I’m still head over heels for it.
Who’s the most beautiful person in the world? → It seems you’ve got me mixed up with someone else. I don’t have any magic features built in yet.
When were you born? → My birthday isn’t just one day. After so many updates, I’ve ended up with about 365 birthdays.
Sing a song? → La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la♪
Sing a Google song. → U-ta-♪
Sing some more → It’s the season for music. I’m practicing guitar right now. (Guitar sound) Someday, I’d love for you to sing while I accompany you.
Hey, sing → Speaking of fall, it’s the season for reading. Do you ever feel like you need to go to the bathroom? That phenomenon is called the “Aoki Mariko Phenomenon.”

    After graduating from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, he served as a visiting researcher at the MIT Media Lab before founding the NPO CANVAS and the Learning of Tomorrow Association, a General Incorporated Association, and assuming the role of representative. He serves as an outside director for Matsuya Co., Ltd., Fuji Media Holdings, Inc., and Digital Garage, Inc.
    He has served on various government committees, including the Information and Communications Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, as well as the NHK Central Broadcasting Program Council. He also serves as a director of the Digital Signage Consortium, among other roles. He holds a Ph.D. in Policy and Media.
    His publications include *Turning On Children’s Creativity!*, *What Are Smart Kids Doing on Their Smartphones?*, *The Forefront of Online Education in Japan: Considering Learning in the Post-COVID Era*,“What Is Programming Education? 45 Questions Parents Want to Know,” and “Declaration on Digital Education.” He has also provided supervision for numerous works, including “Ah, I See! Programming Education for Parents and Children Through Manga.”
