- [Presentation] Symposium Commemorating the Founding of the Japan Society for STEM Education
The Center for Educational Testing Research (CRET), a specified nonprofit organization, has
established the “Japan Society for STEM Education” with the aim of
promoting STEM education—which spans the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to solve real-world problems.
At this inaugural symposium, we will discuss the significance of STEM education for the future of society and education, as well as
research themes that the Japan Society for STEM Education should address, through presentations of case studies on STEM education—including programming education—in schools and extracurricular settings both in Japan and abroad.
I served as a member of the founding preparatory committee and will be speaking at the inaugural symposium.
The overview is as follows; please refer to the link for details.
