- [Press Release] Announcement of the Publication of *The Illustrated Guide to Programming Education*
To Members of the Press
Thank you for your continued support.
On Friday, July 28, 2017, Kodansha published
*The Illustrated Guide to Understanding Programming Education*, with Supervision by Nanako Ishido, Chairperson of CANVAS.
Programming education, which will become mandatory in elementary schools starting in the 2020 school year, is becoming just as important as reading, writing, and abacus skills.
This book provides a comprehensive explanation—complete with real-life examples—of tips for practicing at home, how to utilize private programming classes, and key points for introducing programming education into schools.
With sections on “What Is Programming, Anyway?”, “How Will Programming Education Change Children’s Futures?”, and “What Can Parents and Teachers Do Right Now?”, this book is a valuable resource for anyone “encountering programming education for the first time.”
We understand you are very busy, but
we would greatly appreciate it if you could help spread the word about this book through your media outlets,
and we ask that you please consider this request.
If your media outlet decides to feature this book, we would appreciate it if you could
let us know.
