Pre-Event for the 2nd National Programming Contest for Elementary and Middle School Students

This Saturday, we will hold a pre-event for the 2nd National Elementary and Junior High School Programming Competition at the Asahi Shimbun Tokyo Headquarters. We will host a symposium with
parents and educators to explore the meaning of “new learning,” as well as a workshop for children.
The symposium will feature a panel discussion with Principal Urushi of Shinagawa Girls’ Academy and manga creator Shin Jurin—best known for works such as *The Kindaichi Case Files* and *The Drops of God*—as well as a presentation by Professor Eriko Uematsu on the current state of programming education overseas.

As for why I mentioned Shin Jurin… it's because of the manga "BLOODY MONDAY" about a genius high school hacker—which has even been adapted into a TV drama! I'm currently doing some prep? Or maybe a review?

With the number of participants in the programming competition growing, this year’s event will be held under the following structure.
