Today, I spoke at a symposium titled “What Kind of Education Is Needed in the Age of AI,” hosted by The Asahi Shimbun.
I was asked to lead a workshop for 600 adults, so I gave it my all.
It was
another jam-packed day, featuring talks by Michael Osborne, Principal Magohiro Wada of Nada High School, Teacher
Suzukan, Ms. Junko Hamanaka from the Research and Development Department of the National Center for University Entrance Examinations, and a panel discussion with Mr. Toshiro Takamiya, co-representative of the SAPIX YOZEMI GROUP, among others.
I took it upon myself to speak on behalf of the participants in the Public-Private Consortium Roundtable and presented Mr. Suzukan with a bottle of sake as a token of our appreciation. Mr.
Wada asked me, “Is your hoarse voice because of the sake?” but of course, it’s simply because I’ve been battling a cold… The
sake was delicious (*^^*)
