"Realizing the Future" IT Class in Fukushima!
Today (January 17), we held a "Realizing the Future" IT class at
Kami-Hobara Elementary School in Date City, Fukushima Prefecture, together with
employees from CTC (Itochu Techno-Solutions Co., Ltd.)!

The tool we used was Pyonkee.
We began with a discussion about how programming enriches and makes our daily lives more convenient, and then used programming to create “interactive
stories.” Approximately 70 fifth- and
sixth-graders participated in this session.

For the “Realizing the Future IT Classroom” program we are conducting in partnership with CTC, CANVAS is responsible for developing the
workshop curriculum,
while CTC employees serve as instructors.
Launched in 2015, this marks the 15th session of the “Realizing the Future IT Classroom.”
