[After-School Creative Project]
On Monday, October 24, we held a
“Drawing Robot” workshop at Genkiz Go-dai, where participants created robots by combining
motors with everyday items!
When attaching three pens to a robot’s body to serve as legs, one of my friends discovered
that
“if you arrange the pens in a triangle when viewed from
above, the robot will be more stable!”
We also noticed that after placing their feet on the platform, they would try balancing by placing objects
on top—
it was clear they were coming up with their own creative solutions!
The photos show some of the artwork created by the children.
*The After-School Creative Project is a program that holds workshops at after-school facilities to nurture children’s
creativity and imagination,
with the goal of enriching the after-school experiences of as many children as possible.
