[Registration Now Open for the 3rd Exhibition & Workshop at the Shibuya City Children's Science Center HachiLab!]
CANVAS is serving as the general producer for the annual exhibition series at the Shibuya Ward Children’s Science Center, HachiLab. By inviting professionals from various fields related to
science as guest speakers, we aim to nurture
children’s sense of wonder and provide experiences that inspire them to imagine and create the future.
The third installment of the “Reinventing Play” exhibition has begun!

Bruegel’s painting *Children’s Games*, created around 1560, depicts as many as 90 different games.
For this project, we teamed up with engineers to use the digital creation tool MESH and reinvent new games by combining the games depicted
in the painting with digital technology. Let’s
play, explore, and discover the magic of play!
And on Monday, October 10 (a national holiday), we’ll be holding a workshop at MESH where we’ll take on the challenge of reinventing play! We’re
currently accepting participants!

*What is
MESH? MESH is a tool from the near future that lets you bring your “I wish I had this” ideas to life by connecting block-shaped “MESH Tags” with various functions using the “MESH App.” You don’t need any advanced programming or electronics knowledge to create systems that connect objects and programs.
