- Special Exhibition at Shibuya Ward Children’s Science Center Hachilab
[Shibuya City Children’s Science Center Hachilabo Special Exhibitions]
CANVAS will serve as the general producer for the Shibuya City Children’s Science Center Hachilabo’s annual exhibition series,
which is designed to foster
children’s scientific thinking and enthusiasm for hands-on creation.
We will invite professionals from various fields of science as guests to provide experiences that nurture
children’s sense of wonder and inspire them to imagine and create the
future.
The second installment of the “What-Is-This? Creature Exhibition—Let’s Explore the Wonders of Everyday Creatures!” is now underway! Hiroshi
Sasaki is a professional nature guide who has been introducing people to the wonders of the natural world through events and TV programs for over 30 years.
This time, the exhibition features real specimens and panels of
familiar “What-Is-This?” creatures—the kind that make you want to exclaim, “What on earth is this?!”—as we delve into their mysteries.
Starting today
, new additions have arrived—including “members of the Zatoomushi family”
that look just like alien creatures; the “Ezo Katabiro Osamushi,”
which inspired the pen name of manga artist Osamu Tezuka; and the large “Oomizu-ao,”
with antennae that resemble fish bones—bringing the total number of “Nancole” creatures on display to 16!
Come join us in searching for those mysterious creatures that are hiding all around you but are hard to spot!
