Programming Workshop at the Statistics Bureau of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications!
Yesterday, we held a workshop at the Statistics Bureau of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications as
part of the “Robo*C” robot programming workshop series in collaboration with Accenture.
We used Artec's "Robotist" to conduct a session centered on the theme of "data," in line with the Statistics Bureau's focus.
The main instructors were from Accenture, and I served as a facilitator to support them!
During the workshop, we used only infrared photoreflectors and observed how the
responses and numerical readings changed depending on the colors of the colorful construction paper
provided, while plotting our findings on a graph and discussing the results.
Some children were amazed by the striking changes that appeared when using black and white construction paper,
while others pondered the mystery of the changes that occurred when they chose their favorite colors. Although it was a
brief time, it became an opportunity for each child to explore their own questions and make their own discoveries.
