CANVAS [Call for Participants] Summer Camp 2016: Digital Ehon Workshop Summer Camp 2016: Digital Ehon Workshop—Let’s Create and Play in the World of Picture Books
(Held on Sunday, August 28, 2016) Registration Now Open!
*Waitlist registration is currently open for the elementary school class only.
Encountering a variety of picture books gives children the opportunity to explore new worlds.
In this workshop, we will use “Digital Ehon”—a new form of picture book that not only moves when touched,
plays sounds, and allows children to create their own animations, but is also fun to read,
and can be used for creative expression just like drawing paper or clay—to conduct a hands-on workshop.
In addition to Digital Ehon, the venue will feature an exhibition of traditional paper picture books—which continue to stimulate children’s imagination—and you are welcome to pick them up and look through them at your leisure during the workshop or afterward.
