Several media outlets have covered “Microsoft YouthSpark: Programming for All—For All Children and Youth.”
This is an initiative launched by Microsoft Japan in collaboration with CANVAS and the certified NPO Sodateage Net to provide computer science education starting July 1 to children and young people—including girls, those living in remote areas, people with disabilities, and unemployed youth—who face barriers to accessing such education.
CANVAS will work toward training 200 instructors and conducting 100 classes and workshops over the course of one year.
