A parliamentary league aimed at promoting the use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in education was launched last year, with DiTT serving as its secretariat.
A meeting was held on the 4th of last month, attended by Minister Endo, as well as DiTT Vice Chairman Kageyama, Executive Director Nakamura, and Secretary-General Ishido.

The parliamentary league announced that it would draft legislation based on the “Bill to Promote the Digitalization of Education” published by DiTT.
We intend to continue strengthening our activities to ensure that this serves as a catalyst for advancing the necessary legislative framework.
