[Report] Maker Retreat

Starting today, the PEG team is in Miyazaki for a two-day, one-night “Maker Retreat” under the supervision of Dr. Kazuhiro Abe!
We’ll be conducting programming workshops for students at Miyazaki University, the Miyazaki College of Information Business, and other institutions.

Using Raspberry Pi and Studino, each group will create a project and present it.

The first day will begin with an opening talk by Professor Abe, providing an opportunity for each student to reflect anew on questions such as “Why learn programming?” and “What does it mean to learn through making things?” I’m told that many of the students are majoring in information and communications.
I’m really looking forward to seeing what kinds of projects and ideas they come up with!
