[Call for Participants] BASE GREEN WORKSHOP

[BASE GREEN WORKSHOP: Now Accepting Participants!!]

Using “Ark Garden”—a symbol of Ark Hills’ lush greenery—as our setting, we will implement a year-long program to create a space where children can interact with nature and fully engage their five senses, physicality, and free-spirited creativity!

This curriculum allows students to simultaneously experience both programs under the supervision of Ms. Akemi Sugii, Ark Garden’s dedicated gardener—which offer opportunities to interact with nature throughout the four seasons—and CANVAS’s diverse range of arts and crafts programs, all centered on the common theme of nature.

Listening to the songs of birds that always come to eat the same petals, or playing with plants shaped just like animal mouths… Noticing and marveling at the subtle changes in nature that we usually overlook, and being moved by the vitality of life and the ways it finds a way to survive.
We are committed to carefully crafting these moments—experiences that can serve as formative, foundational experiences for children, ones that are hard to come by in the city center.

We're accepting applications from April through June!
We really hope you'll join us!
