Children’s Media Lab Vol. 9: “Children and Architecture”
[EN] Talk Event: Children’s Media Lab Vol. 9
[Children’s Media Lab Vol. 9: “Children and Architecture”]
This past Tuesday, we held Children’s Media Lab Vol. 9: “Children and Architecture”!
Our guest speaker was Taku Hibino, who has designed over 350 children’s facilities, including kindergartens and daycare centers.
Thank you to everyone who came out—even though it was a regular weekday at lunchtime!
His words—“I want to create school buildings that adapt to the children, rather than the children having to adapt to the buildings”—his desire to “design every aspect of the environment in which children grow through architecture,” and his hope that children “will continue to take on challenges without fear of failure” really resonated with us.
Thank you so much! Mr. Hibino has already posted about the event on his blog.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this event!
Mr. Hibino has also shared details about this event on his blog!!
