[Kids Creative Lab at Meiji University]
On November 8, we held the Kids Creative Lab at Meiji University!
For this program,
we welcomed EAT & ART TARO as a special guest instructor. TARO creates various artworks centered on the theme of food.
Together with TARO, the children explored their likes and dislikes when it comes to food.
TARO asks the children multiple-choice questions based on various themes.
They thought a lot about their preferences—which option they were drawn to, which one they’d like to eat right now, and so on. There were even moments when just
one child chose something different from the others, leaving the others wondering, “I like this one, but why did that child choose the other one…?
” When we asked each child for their reasons, everyone had their own answer, and it felt like a time when they could
freely express their “likes” and “dislikes.”
It’s hard to believe, but next month marks the last Meiji Research Institute event of the year!
I’m looking forward to seeing our young researchers again!
