Judge Yoichi Sakakibara (M.D., Vice President of Ochanomizu University) commented, “This Digital Ehon allows children to relive the sense of wonder they feel when encountering for the first time the many different things that fill their homes and neighborhoods. It’s a Digital Ehon that lets them enjoy the world of all these things not just by looking at them, but by touching and moving them.”
We heard that the TOCABOCA app recently surpassed 100 million downloads worldwide! They continue to create many Digital Ehon books that let
children take center stage and discover their own ways to play. We received a wonderful video message from
Sweden celebrating this achievement, so please be sure to check it out!

Toca Life: City (TocaBoca)
"Building on the success of our first storytelling app, Toca Life: Town, we bring you Toca Life: a set of storytelling tools that will reflect kids’ everyday lives and spark their imaginations. Each app empowers kids to be the directors of their own stories, putting them in control. That’s why you’ll find few predefined animations and no scripted scenarios or rules—so that your child—and no one else—decides what happens to the inhabitants of Toca Life… We hope you’ll find Toca Life a place that brings out the storyteller in everyone and makes anything possible. We hope you’ll enjoy your time here!"
