- [Report] Kids Creative Lab in Nishi-Azabu
From a CANVAS Facebook post

[
Kids Creative Lab in Nishi-Azabu] On Sunday, May 3, we held a "Museum Just for Kids" event.
At the “Children-Only Museum,” there are tools for the children to use and tools for the adult staff. To ensure everyone uses the tools
safely, we’ll briefly explain the rules for using them at the beginning.
The children will carefully examine the materials and engage with them using the tools.
Carefully color the wood with pink and light blue pens to add some vibrancy. When using
scissors, hold them straight so the blades don’t point toward you, and cut
using the base of the blades. To see which tape sticks best,consult
the material; when using a utility knife, be mindful of where you place your supporting hand, and cut slowly without applying too much force; when using
glue, spread it thinly to avoid excess;
sometimes use the material itself as a tool to draw a circle—we have plenty of tools available for
adults to help with the finishing touches.
We looked closely at the materials, felt them, and thought
about what shapes to create. We cut, glued, peeled, and drew
—and once again, many wonderful creations came to life.
