Kagawa Gathering

Starting today, we’re holding the Kagawa Gathering with everyone from e-Topia Kagawa !
All 33 participants are booting up their Raspberry Pi devices at the same time!
We’re hosting a training session for instructors and workshops for children!
During the workshops, the adults who participated in the training are helping out as support staff.

e-Topia Kagawa also offers robot programming classes. I hear the students are working hard together, aiming to compete in events like
RoboCup Junior. Some of the kids who take
those classes have even come to our workshop!

Today, we’re all going to try our hand at making game controllers! We had a diverse group of participants, including people who are
already hosting workshops as community partners at e-Topia Kagawa, those who are planning to host workshops in the future, school teachers, and staff members from children’s
facilities.
Perhaps because of this, the discussion we had after the workshop was very substantive.

e-Topia Kagawa plans to continue holding Raspberry Pi workshops on an ongoing basis!
They’re working to create an environment that’s accessible even for first-time participants, while also providing opportunities for those who develop a deeper interest to take on new challenges!
