<Raspberry Pi Workshop 2 @ Seibi Education and Culture Hall> Today, we held our second Raspberry Pi workshop at the
Seibi Education and Culture Hall with members of the Toshima Training Group!

Last time, we all worked together to set up and power on the equipment while checking each piece one by one, but today, as soon as people arrived, they carried their equipment to their seats and powered it on themselves. Everyone managed to get their equipment up and running by carefully examining the shapes of the cable connectors and asking their friends for help.

We reviewed what we learned last time and then took on the challenge of making a game!
We started by creating a game where a mouse runs away from a cat, and then moved on to making the games we wanted to create. Referencing Scratch cards with example
scripts or modifying the sample projects that come pre-installed in Scratch really helps expand your ideas. After Mr. Abe showed us some of his favorite games, I could really feel the students’ enthusiasm grow—they were even more eager to create their own!

Next time, we'll finally be using GPIO to build a controller! I can't wait to see what projects everyone comes up with!
