The “Mugbot” robot from the Koike Laboratory at Tokyo City University has been turned into a compact kit at FabLab Kannai!
It’s called “Fabbot Kanna-chan.”
It’s a simple robot kit made from a plastic cup and an Arduino Uno.

Assembly takes about 1 to 2 hours.
You can build it with absolutely no prior knowledge, and you can even try making your own parts using a 3D printer or laser cutter. Since it runs on Arduino, it’s easy to customize—such as adding sensors or changing its movements.
You can download the assembly manual and other materials from this site!

**Magbot is a social robot developed by the Koike Laboratory.
Be sure to check out the official website, which was just recently updated! Information on how to build and use it is now available!
