The results of the “Everyone’s Raspberry Pi Contest,” hosted by Nikkei Linux and Nikkei Software, have been announced!
Out of a total of 158 entries, 44 projects were selected.
The Grand Prize went to [“Aquatan Unit 3,” a robot that moves between multiple tropical fish tanks to turn on lights, automatically feed the fish, and take photos](by Osamu Mizuno).

In this contest, which featured various categories such as the Student Award and the Idea Award, winners included PEG partners as well as children attending CANVAS workshops.

The chair of the judging committee for this contest was Professor Abe, PEG’s supervisor.
In addition, special awards were presented by RS Components, Switch Science, and others.
I can’t wait to see all of these winning entries in person! I’m also looking forward to seeing how they develop in the future.
