- [Call for Participants] The Glasses Squad: School Is Fun!
"The Glasses Squad," a project being carried out during elementary school art class using CANVAS. What are
the children thinking, what expressions do they have on their faces, and how are they approaching the project? This initiative aims to value
that process and share it with parents and the local community.

[School Is Fun!]
The "Glasses Squad" was launched in 2012.
We carry out activities to share the message: "School is fun! Kids are amazing!"
● Showcasing the Art Class Process! What matters most
in art class is the process.
What are the students thinking? What expressions do they have on their faces as they work? To convey
these aspects, an art teacher
at Tsutsujigaoka North Elementary School shares records of her classes.
It was with this teacher that we launched the “Glasses Squad.”
● A Screening Showing the Making of the Artworks!
The Kita Elementary Museum takes place this weekend.
Is art class really just about making things to display?! Is an exhibition just about putting
works on display?!
The Kita Elementary Museum is a place where children think and create on their own with great enthusiasm.
Over the past month, the “Glasses Squad” has been documenting classroom activities leading up to the event,
and on the day of the event, they’ll screen the footage they recorded in the gym.
That screening will finally take place this Friday and Saturday.
Please feel free to come by if you’d like.

*The "
Glasses Squad" is a public relations department that aims to "make visible" aspects of school educational activities that are currently overlooked, and to share this information with
parents, educators, and many others.
We believe that helping people realize, "Elementary school is actually this much fun!" is a great opportunity for people from
diverse backgrounds to develop an interest in the future of education and elementary schools.
We hope to create a small opening through which many exciting things can emerge.
