<Programming Experience @ Koga City Youth Science Festival
> Today, we’re holding PEG workshops in Osaka and Ibaraki!
We’re running a programming workshop at the Koga City General Gymnasium in Ibaraki Prefecture!
Together with Mr. Hirai from the Board of
Education, we’re guiding participants through everything from booting up a Raspberry Pi to creating a game in Scratch where a mouse escapes from a cat. We’re
currently training the high school students who are helping out! They’re really enjoying
their first experience with Scratch!

The programming workshop led by Mr. Hirai has begun. I’ve played
games before, but this is my first time making one! The smile on my face when I was able to make the cat move on my own was
just radiant!

At the Science Festival, elementary, middle, and high schools from Koga City are running booths. It’s really wonderful to see elementary school
students teaching participants how to make things.
Right next to the PEG booth, there are also hands-on booths featuring laser cutters and drones!

Lots of participants have come, and the event is really lively!
