Space Design for a Treasure Hunt

KMD students hosted a “Treasure Hunt Space Design” workshop.
Thirty children aged 4 to 6 participated.
They split into two teams and went on a treasure hunt together!
Place, put in, surround, wrap, and hang.
Using these five “hiding” techniques, the children designed their own treasure hunt spaces.
By using everyday materials to create spaces and rules, they were able to invent their own games.
We wanted the children to have that experience.
Although
this was the first children’s workshop for the KMD students, it was very well-received, and we received several inquiries from parents about when the next one would be held.
