- [Report] October 5 (Sun): Kids Creative Lab in Nishi-Azabu
From a CANVAS Facebook post
******************************************* [October
5 (Sun) Kids Creative Lab in Nishi-Azabu]
Sunday, October 5, was “Kids-Only Museum” day.
At “Kids-Only Museum,” there is no set theme for what to make.
The children choose their own materials and create whatever they want.
I’ve put together a collection of the animated creations everyone made this time. Just watching the character whose
nose flies off made me smile involuntarily. The creator seemed to have a
lot of fun making the mechanism that spins around on a
skewer and the game where you roll a ring—they kept making and tweaking them over and over again.
You can tell that the propeller, designed to catch the wind, was carefully assembled with great attention to how the blades were attached.
The chickens and chicks eating together so harmoniously, and the rabbit hopping out of the grass—these images evoke stories and scenes right from the
artwork.Whether the
movement was envisioned first and then brought to life, or devised to match the artwork itself,
both approaches were brimming with wonderful creativity.
We've created a lot of artwork this time as well.
