- [Media] Smart School for Kids Kicks Off with Workshop
Last weekend, we held a kickoff workshop for
“Smart School for Kids” at Japan’s first post office, the Nihonbashi Post Office. An article was published about
the event.
The course covers the basics of using cameras, LINE, and the Internet, while encouraging participants to think about
safe and secure usage.
“Smart School for Kids” is designed for elementary school
students in the lower grades who are just beginning to use smartphones, as well as their parents. One of its goals is to create opportunities for
parents and children to discuss safe and secure smartphone usage together.
In the future, “Smart School for Kids” will continue to expand
across the country, with seniors teaching children how to use the technology. We hope
these classes will serve as an opportunity for intergenerational exchange. Please stay tuned for
future initiatives from “Smart School for Kids.”
