<Raspberry Pi and Scratch Hands-On Workshops Held at a Middle School Culture Festival!>
Seven students and teachers who participated in the “Teacher Gathering” training session for educators in July held
Raspberry Pi hands-on workshops at the culture festival!
In this workshop, participants tried their hand at creating games in Scratch using a Raspberry Pi.
I hear that the students are also creating games for young children using Scratch in their classes.
This time, we used LEGO WeDo and made full use of the distance sensor to create a game.
The result was a game that everyone could enjoy together—not just by playing alone, but by letting others take turns controlling it as well.
In the classroom, there
was also an exhibition of Scratch games and craft projects created by students who had gathered around their teacher. Apparently, they hope to have the craft projects running on a Raspberry Pi by next year’s cultural festival!
