[Report] Programming Lab in Akasaka

[September 13 (Sat): Programming Lab in Akasaka]
On September 13, we held the Programming Lab in Akasaka.

It’s already the sixth session of Akasaka since we started in April. Starting today, we
began planning for our December presentation. What do
I like? What do I want to try with programming? We all thought about these questions together while looking at slides and videos showing how to come up with
ideas and examples of projects.
Programming might seem difficult, but it’s also what makes complex tasks simple for everyone. The Akasaka Kids are still exploring ways to give even more shape to their personal interests!
Even the children who joined for the first time that day were able to discover,
through the Raspberry Pi, things they’d like to try with programming.

Not only did the children participate in the monthly lab sessions, but they also took on many projects during summer vacation and at home.
They brought in the artwork and ideas they’d worked on, which really surprised us adults!
We can also see their eagerness to develop these projects even further.

From planning to taking on new challenges, everyone’s projects are evolving through repeated trial and error!
